# Setting a Confusion Message

When the bot is asked a question it does not understand a confusion message is sent.

To set a confusion message click on ‘+’ to create a new block then select ‘confusion’ from the options.

Once the confusion block has been created it will require a reply and will automatically create a new block for the reply. Click on the ‘add block’ button to enter the reply. The reply will be what the bot will say when it becomes confused.

If a red triangle with an exclamation mark appears, that means the conversation flow is incomplete and the block needs dialogue to be entered to complete the flow.
